![]() Every time someone sent my web hosting service a VirusTotal report with even one red scan they would pull the file and send me an email. Since they both use Hotkeys I suspect that is the main reason they have the tendency to trip a few of these scanners. I have written a bunch of small utilities with AHK and also AutoIt3. To me that indicates the file is likely benign. If you take a look at the graphic is shows the arrow in the green. Nobody who posts a VirusTotal result seems to take note of the graphic in the top right corner if there are any scans that show red. Providing a file checksum (typically hosted on a separate server from the main file) helps the end user ensure that they have the original, unmodified file. It's not uncommon for a website's security to be compromised and legitimate files to be replaced with malicious, modified versions. Who is they?
